The phone has the address, but is not displaying it.

1. Go to the particular contact on your phone.

2. You may see in the "home" or "work" field just the word "US" - assuming that you are in the United States.

3. Touch "Edit"

4. Scroll down to the "home" or "work" field that just has the word "US", where you will see a red circle to the left with a minus sign in it. Touch the red circle.

5. On the right it will show a red box with "Delete". Touch that.

6. Touch "Done" - upper right of screen.

7. If the address still does not show, see if you still have either a "work" field or "home" field showing just "US". If so, repeat steps 3-6. The address should reappear. (This is a nuisance, but the fix stays even when re-syncing.)

Momek.....Thank you. Your solution posted on Sep 29 at 10:40 am works perfectly to correct address downloads to my i5 from Outlook. This is obviously an issue with iOS7 that I hope gets corrected quickly. Even though Momek's solution works, I don't have the time to do this for 3000+ contacts, so I hope Apple provides a solution sooner than later.

Lets face it. Apple and Outlook simply dont play well together and they never will. In OS X Mavericks they have removed the INFO button from iTunes which allowed you to selectively sync data on your device to Gmail or Outlook. Apple is forcing every user to iCloud. They dont give a sh*t about the professional or business user, they are selling iPhones to your grandmother and 60mm consumers and they want them buying Macs and using native Mail, Contacts and Reminders to manage their data. They want to force everyone into the all-Apple ecosystem.

This is the kind of behavior that got Microsoft nailed with anti-trust violations in the EU.

Bottom line is if you want to use an iPhone or iPad with Exchange-based data, you should consider them to be read-only devices and input ALL new data strictly through your Outlook interface (especially contacts - I find the Calendar to work pretty flawlessly in setting up appointments). Syncing over the air down to the devices via Exchange seems to work. Syncing upstream from devices to Exchange causes problems of myriad types and inconsistently across users. I am an MCSE, I run my business via Exchange (Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Mail) and have 7000+ carefully coded contacts (via categories) that are my lifeblood. I live in a MS ecosystem and cannot migrate because of the power it gives me via Outlook to run my biz with one interface.

I like the iPhone form factor and have just accepted a certian amount of manual labor is required to keep my feet in both ponds and manage the incompatibilities. I dont rely on Microsoft to do everything right (office365 lost data that was unrecoverable recently) and certainly not Apple (unless you drink the Kool Aid). But Apple doesnt give you enterprise-level functions and tools for your universe of data.

Its a kluge-y world, we all just live here 😟

My problem is Outlook calendar not syncing fully to iPhone 4S since installing iOS 7. Still syncs up fine with my other 4S and iPad, which are still running iOS 6. I have read through this entire thread and my question is: WHY should we have to be discussing these elaborate (and largely unsuccessful) "fixes" at all? Apple has turned into Microsoft, putting buggy product out and leaving it up to consumers to figure out how to fix it. Apple needs to step up. FAIL.

Use the Cloud to sync the calendar, it doesn't matter which one, just pick one and use it.

(iCloud, Google, Hosted Exchange server, etc.)

The power of a hosted calendar outstrips and bypasses any/all syncing issues with the bugs that Apple and Microsoft can't hammer out.

How cool is it to enter in an event in Outlook/Thunderbird and then have it pop up on the phone calendar just seconds later?

That's much easier and also more time-saving than plugging into the computer/waiting for iTunes to connect over wifi and pushing a full backup/sync for the new event.

Whatcha say? Try something new this weekend?

The solution I found to work is to open the Contact that doesn't show an address on the iPhone, click on Edit, scroll down to the addresses (mine was the Work address) and there is likely just a Country - if that is the case, delete the Work section (click on the red dot with the minus sign), click on Delete next to the Work address, and then click on Done. Then the contact screen should appear again, and the address will now show. Hope this helps!

Having exact same problem. However, the missing address problem on iphone 4s are not new contacts created after IOS7. It is hit and miss, some have the address, others do not. These are contacts I have had in my outlook contacts 10 years plus with no changes. THIS NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED IMMEDIATLY BY APPLE. I use these addresses on a daily basis for my business. HOW THIS COULD BE OVER LOOKED BY APPLES IS CRAZY. Also noticing when syncing with contacts, it is not moving a new contact created on iphone over to my outlook contact list on my computer. It use to sync bi-directional.

APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP..... not good for business world, let alone normal home address list.

That is a great solution, but I am not going to go through my entire list of hundreds of contacts and do that.

This needs to be fixed by Apple.

I apprecaite you help conradlaw, but I hope Apple is reading these and responding to them.

APPLE, PLEAE FIX THIS ASAP. You created the problem, not us. It is not up to your customers to fix your problems.

p.s. your instructiond did work, I just do not have the time to fix them all.
