If you consider (and most cannot) the incredible complexity of getting software to talk perfectly with endless millions of other applications AND hardware and daily changing firmware from endless 1000s of companies.
NASA launched a $300,000,000 satellite at Mars and it crash landed because someone missed a 1KB of code someone could have spot checked in 20 mins.
I "feel" for software designers and code writers.
Apple OSX, despite a hiccup here or there is still a 1000 miles in front.
