Has anyones iphone 5s shipped yet??

@ Millioon: I ordered my phone online after I noticed online VRZN was allowing customer's to keep the unlimited data plan. That was Friday the 9/27. The next day I 1st attempted to purchase the 5s in store explaining what I saw online, the store rep didn't have a clue. They didn't have any 5s devices in stock anyway so I went home and purchased online. VRZN called it a "glitch" but my experience says it was a pilot run. During this upgrade process VRZN knew to swipe my $20.00 hotspot option (I could not keep that?😐). I think VRZN forcasted they didn't have enough 5s devices to sell initially and looked the other way as they needed to successfully promote its EDGE program. I had been on the phone with VRZN customer care prior and was promised my unlimited data plan if I upgraded with EDGE, an offer the in-store rep would not honor just 2 weeks prior to me upgrading online. Call it Karma, or a pilot approach, I doubt it was an actual "glitch" though. 😎 Oh, I was out of contract a year as I would not upgrade my phone because of then new "NO UNLIMITED DATA" policy. I've had VRZN since 98 back when they were BAM..all of my in-home landline, internet, and cable svc's are VRZN and they make no exception for long time money spending customer's?....yeah it's karma.

Also does anyone know why Apple have taken my money already but not told me my phone has dispatched or anything? It's still on processing?

I know the answer to that.

Apple send a request to your bank for the money to be put aside as your item is due for dispatch. It's not actually been removed from your account just put to one side. If Apple don't finish processing within 3 days then your bank will put the money back in your account.

Yes mate, had the same issue as yourself so phoned my bank (Santander) and they informed me how it worked. This was on the Monday. On the Thursday the money went back into my account again as Apple hadn't finished processing but the next day the took the cash and dispatched. Got the phone 3 days later all the way from china to Glasgow. Not bad eh.

I ordered late 5th october gold 34gb

Ordered a space grey 16gb on 23rd September. It dispatched on the 11th October and it arrived yesterday at midday. Apples eta was way off they said I'd get it by the 18th. So once yours dispatches just use the ups global tracking link they send you that's very accurate on when you'll receive it.

Btw I also ordered a 16gb gold 5s on the same day. It still is on processing with an estimated dispatch of 24-28october delivery by the 4th November. My missus ain't happy lol

24-28th dispatch and delivery 4th but if they've set aside money it should all be going through soon?!

Yeah mate if Apple has requested the money be put aside then it's nearly ready to ship. Could be any day now. But as I said mine took 5 days from the initial bank charge to actual dispatch. The turnaround from dispatch to delivery is only 3 days tho.

You could still cancel the order I guess. If you use the apple store app you can check your item status there. You can also cancel it but if I was you I'd let it go thru and get a nice pink case :)

I've got a clear case to show off the gold, I've given up on my dream pink one, its way expensive.

Off Colorware a brand new 64bg gold plus the customisation would cost around £900 excluding custom charges! So I kinda outweighed it and I'm gonna stick with my order, waited long enough ahahah!

Anyway here's the link to UPS tracking. When your phone eventually dispatches you'll get your email from Apple with an 18 digit tracking number. Punch it into the site and you can then request updates to be sent to your email letting you know where your phone is exactly. Quite exciting watching it travel round the world and praying it doesn't get damaged lol.

Well mine left Shenzen, China on Friday night. Route took it to Hong Kong, Dubai then onto Germany I think then Edinburgh and onto van for delivery. Arrived Monday at midday. Pretty impressive to be honest.
