I ordered a verizon 32gb space grey on sept 26th yet people who ordered phones way after me already have shipping dates or already got them, what the heck? I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation email or anything yet still says processing....?

Wow, That's a bit strange. Did you order your device in-store or online? I'd give them a call. I purchased/ordered the same phone w/VRZN same spec, same color, on 9/28 and mine arrives tomorrow.

You know come to think of it, I was a bit lucky because this past Saturday 10/12 (EST), I just happened to be looking at my email when I noticed VRZN had sent me an email declining my purchase mind you, I ordered my phone online and received confirmation on 9/28. I immediately called VRZN as the email suggested I get in touch with VRZN within the next 72hrs to keep my initial order from being cancelled.😕 I called and was asked to verify my address of all things,and that's it? I pay my VRZN bill every month and on time as this is part of the basic requirement to qualify for VRZN EDGE. Just imagine if I had not noticed this email VRZN would have jammed me up..."un-glitched" for sure and no unlimited data then huh?

For anyone contemplating cancelling your online order for in-store pickup purchase, this is what I did today to get my gold iPhone:

1. Using the iPhone check website, I saw there was a 32 gb gold phone at an apple store in Dallas (near me).

2. Cancelled my att 16 gb gold on the apple store website.

3. Called ATT to refresh my upgrade eligibility, it took 5-10 minutes, ATT was surprisingly polite and helpful.

4. Went back to apple's website and purchased the 32 gb gold phone.

5. Picked up my new 32 gb gold phone same day (today).

The Apple e-mail confirmation did say I could pick up by Oct. 20th, so you don't have to pick up same day. I'm very happy I didn't wait until Nov. 4th for my mail delivery. Gold ATT iPhones have rarely popped up in my area as available on the iPhone check website, I was surprised it was there today.

I ordered mine today (16gb Gold), *sigh* couldn't upgrade until now. I ordered online from AT&T and have estimated ship dates of Nov. 22- Dec. 12. This is very depressing to see but as some of you have said it has arrived earlier than estimations, I remain hopeful. I'm so excited!

That website that emails you when the phone you want is available is great. But the Michigan Apple stores are seeing no love :( I've been emailed twice on a gold 32 Gb but the closest has been Cleveland, about 3 hrs away! I want my new phone but not a 6+ hr drive bad!

Got mine yesterday afternoon, backed up my old device (APPLE iPHONE 4). Then called VRZN to complete my 2nd half activation which was quick...then the million dollar question, sir can you confirm my current data plan? Replied: Oh, yes you have the Verizon EDGE 6GB plan $29.99...wrong answer....VRZN attempts to disregard my confirmed unlimited data $29.99...sent the rep my VRZN emailed confirmation and with a little assistance from middle management I was good to go. Issue resolved. Strange the phone reps act as if they have no knowledge of the so called "GLITCH".

Update 3:

iPhone 5s 16gb gold, ordered on the 23rd September with estimated dispatch of 24-28th October and estimated delivery date of 4th November has now changed from "processing items" to "preparing for dispatch". My bank account has been charged and my wife's a little happier now.

^^ My Order of September 21st of an unlocked iPhone 5S Gold 16GB did the same yesterday and was later shipped that night.

Basically, expect shipment soon after seeing "Preparing for Dispatch"
