iTunes Radio unavailable on ipad

I have been using iTunes Radio since last week (love it, by the way), but yesterday it stopped working on my iPad. It continues to work fine on all my other devices (2 Macs, AppleTV, 2 iPhones), but on my iPad it attempts to play a song, fails to start, and then shows a message "iTunes Radio Unavailable. iTunes Radio is temporarily unavailable. Try again later". I tried to restart the iPad, turn it off etc. but the problem continues. I also tried to sign out of iTunes Match, from the iTunes Store, and it didn't help either. Any ideas, anyone?

Have the same problem now in my iPad. Tried the same workarounds tried above several times to no avail. Very disappointed as while it worked I found iTunes Radio delightful. Well this is interesting. As I was writing this iTunes Radio came on through my speakers to play an ad. Got excited it fixed itself. Nope. After the ad finished it went back to broke. Just goes to show not even Apple technical glitches can stop revenue generating commercials.

The problem seems to be happening less often with time, but it still happens about 20% of the times. But now using the trick to select a station and quickly skip to the next song seems to be working more frequently. Inexplicably, though, it continues to manifest itself only on my iPad. I haven't seem it happen on my iPhone, on AppleTV, my Macs or my Windows PC.

I experienced this same problem, but alas, the trick of quickly skipping to the next track didn't work for me. What did work was tapping on "History" and then closing it again by tapping "Done." (I actually also tapped on "Wish List" while I was looking at my history, but that's probably not necessary.) After that, it worked again. I have no idea whether this is a reliable fix or not, but hopefully it will help someone.

I had the same issues with iPad itunes radio. I called and was transfered to a senior advisor at Apple who has cheerful and knowledgable but couldn't fix it. I searched around my devices and came across something that happened to work. Without explaining too much of my situation, here is what worked for me.

Attach iPad to computer with caple, open itunes.

In the Summary tab, under Options, check the box "Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi"

Voila.

I've read many forums with users who offered a fix, but it didn't work for me. If this doesn't work for you, I apologize. This is my first post in Apple forums. Perhaps there's another setting I already have configured that needs to work in conjunction with this.
