I have experience the same problem to both on my 4 and 4s , 2days after installed iOS7 it happened to my 4 and today it just happens to my 4s. The only way to fix it is to have the phone restart, but doing so is killing me. Need Apple to fix this issue permanently.

Auto-lock is different than the Passcode in your settings. Mine was set to NEVER so thank you so much for posting this, it resolved my nightmare of constantly having to charge my IPHONE

NOTE TO USERS - Under Settings you will find Require Passcode under Passcode Lock setting - you must set this as well go to GENERAL settings and Auto-Lock and uncheck NEVER or it will conflict with the PASSCODE setting and will not lock at all hence the battery drain.

🙂 thanks again Hope this helps people out there in Apple Land

Hey man, sorry for the late response, but i think i solved the problem. I also have a iphone 4 running ios 7, and the problem is with the notifications.

Go to your settings-notifications-do not include and take the time to look through all the apps and make sure everything is turned off (take your time, i think you guys are like me and really want to solve this problem). After you do this, the problem should be fixed!

Hope this helps you!
