Can't find movie I rented

Thanks very much. I had the same problem after doing the upgrade; rental movies disappeared. I followed your steps last night and it worked. Im not impressed that something like this passes Apple's testing though.

Worked for me as well.

This update had another bug: my timezone was set to Cupertino. Would be nice if it would be so, but I live in rainy Ireland. Couln't rent anything from iTunes or watch on Netflix. Took me a while to figure it out.

I'm also carefull with updates in the future.

I can't find a movie I rented but did not complete. WHAT THE ?!?!?! Hit the reset option. Still ... no rentals.

Your apple tv is missing an update, check software update and make sure Update auto is on, run update and you should be fine. I had this same issue.

Hi I find my rental movies in my videos just as if I was watching a video I had recorded. Try looking under your video icon Kas

This worked for me 3 weeks ago when I had this same issue, but for some reason tonight, it hasn't worked. I tried logging out of iTunes, logging back in, resetting my password, going into Movies, and the rental wasn't there. It also was not showing an option to "continue watching" when I clicked on the movie at the top of the main home page of Apple TV (where anyone with UI experience would think they would put it).

Another observation, the movie was on pause, while i went to get some water, and i closed my Macbook, which seemed to be the trigger. Strange behavior.

I'll restart the appleTV, then logout and then see if it appears. On another note my apple remote just mysteriously stopped working last night. It's odd, I was always such a fan of Apple but I am finding that things are getting buggier and buggier as time goes on. Each update has introduced new headaches, and extra work to get things to work.

I have rented movies on my laptop three times and they never appear on the apple tv. signing out of my account does not work. i really do not understand why apply can't get this to work.
