I don't know what's worse:
With the resources at its disposal, Apple should not have allowed this to happen. Not only has Apple failed to fix the problems at hand; they haven't made any public statements acknowledging nor appologizing for these problems faced by users.
Some people point out that with every iOS update comes a wave of complaints. However, I think it's more than reasonable to say that what happened with iOS is a disaster.
It seems like the majority of users who updated to iOS7 are extremely disappointed with the update.
iOS 7 fails from a usability standpoint, as well as a functional one.
Usability: unnecessary complexity, Windows 8 Metro look, candy/teenager/lego look
Functionality: battery life, iMessage woes
If you look at the big picture, iOS 7 marks the end of an era.
Can I just request the next update to uses ios-6-classy-like interface and fast? and just call it ios 8 😁

Please cite reliable sources for this assertion.
A couple of hundred million have not expressed disappointment, so I suspect the poster's sample of opinions could be less than statistically significant.
Perhaps I should have added that this thread is not a reliable source?
what about me?? i used to have iphone 4s and never upgraded to ios7, i always had ios 6 on it until it got stolen. and now, if i dont get my iphone 4s back ill have to buy a new phone, probably iphone 5. i want ios 6 on it, and i never had a choice of "whether upgrading or no"??
i think i smell conspiracy here...
Holly cow Batman (KorvinB3) you mean that Apple is self destructing internally. Cause we all know if Jobzy was around this kinda crap would never of happened. {Bam} Either it's a business stunt to upset loads of consumers {Wham}or seriously missed managed negative business stunt. {kaboom} ???

You'll be unlikely to find a new iPhone 5. Apple stoppd making them once the 5C and the 5S were released. Carriers may have a few but reports are thay most are gone.
Hi, I have a question want to ask for your help, When I'm playing a game, after I've pause and quit without close it completely, then I continue to open another app, but after I switch back to the previous app, it will restart itself, but I hope it can be like iOS 6, when I quit an app and open it after several minutes, the page I left will still be there, and not restart again. Do you know how to make it?
Anyone with a tidbit of intuition can see that the majority of users are disappointed with iOS 7. Don't confuse adoption rates and lack of complaints with satisfaction ratings.
Your statements clearly indicate a severe lack of logic.
Just because a product is no longer being manufactured does not mean that no new stock is available. Retailers don't just incinerate discontinued products.
iOS =Two and a Half Men.
So how's the cat?

Anyone with a tidbit of internet connection can find that over two million people upgraded to iOS 7 in the first five days of its release. I seem to be unable to find anywhere more than a million posts expressing disapppointment. It is now a long way from the first five days. From where are you getting your data?
Oh....2 mill downloaded and only 1 mill are disappointed?
Seams fare...................if your on the side of the mill that approved.............
What a racketr these people have,,,,,,,,,, not just the Apple, but the cahoots with the mobile phone companies..
Maybe next time they should also get involved with politics........if they aren't already.... :- o
I obviously failed to make my point....
I'll try again: please give links to more than, shall we say, a thousand users disappointed? Out of what is now at least three hundred million.

I don't rely on my intuition for statistical information. Nor does anyone else with half a brain.
I find also that ios7 is very slow on my iphone 4S and a lot of basics apps seems to crash.
I unfortunately don't have enough money to change my iphone every year.
Someone said that the new look of the icons are plain and boring and looks like android: i agree.
I like apple because they are always forward, on the ios7 they are more followers.
I hope apple will release a new version of ios7 with a better optimization for all the iphone 4 and 5, and with less unusefull animations.
