iOS7 BUG? ALL MY NOTES disappeared. WHY?

Thank you sooo much! I found them. (Now I just have to figure out how to get them back on my phone.)

Perhaps I'll just look for another app to use for any future notes. Having to go to the web to retrieve my notes renders this app useless for me.

I totally agree and I have not yet worked out how to get them back on the phone...but at least we know where they are..I emailed them all to myself!

Look into the first page of this forum, the two messages from boogaboo214. They explain how to avoid the problem to repeat in the future and how to get all the info back into your phone, good luck

Thanks! I changed the setting after I finally found ( and printed out) my notes on the Yahoo! Web page. Crisis over!

Thanks too everybody in this thread for solving this! I "lost" some important notes, but traced them to Yahoo. That was the longest 1hour of my life! Now changing my settings!

I have tracked only 5 notes to my yahoo account, I still have so many notes missing, I don't understand, where did the other notes go?

I could not recover mine in the Yahoo web account. The recent notes were gone from there, too. The older ones remained. Where is the FIX for this?????

I have looked on my macbook air and cannot see where "settings " are, unlike the ipad and iphone? I need to check that "notes" are turned off but cannot see where to do it on the computer?

I opened the app and all of my notes disappeared except a few. I looked in my yahoo and they weren't there. I then checked settings, and turned off the notes in yahoo to see if they'd reappear. This only deleted the few remaining notes. This isn't a yahoo thing. I can't believe the problems I've had since updating to ios7. So many of my settings were reversed just because I updated and now this. I've spent more time researching how to turn off the new bs features than I have actually enjoyed the iPad. The documents I lost in notes is overwhelming. I cannot believe how pathetic this update was. I will never again use an apple product after I find a buyer for this ****** iPad. Great job apple.

I have to agree with you. This is not a Yahoo problem as stated before. Notes are directed to any email that you run.Gmail is another. Apple has created the problem by allowing the default settings to be "ON" deflecting the notes to email accounts........That is for the Lucky Ones Mine briefly appeared when I did a restore from a backup. My backup is on my computer. Yours maybe in a backup on your computer or icloud. Go to icloud.com and sign in and have a look there as well. Its unbelieveable that they can be in so many places. There are a couple "Note" Apps that Im seriously going to look at.

I have done everything that everyone has mentioned here. I have checked Yahoo notes and to my surprise nothihng, Gmail also nothing. I have also lost the ability to add reminders since this last update. I'm very much over the whole apple phase.

I'm going to attempt to restore from my last update which was like 2 weeks ago and crossing my fingers.

Be sure you are looking in the yahoo FOLDER called 'Notes' not the yahoo 'notepad' app. I made this mistake too.

Turning off sync to yahoo resolves the problem of the notes disappearing from the iphone but syncing to yahoo allows me to sync them to both my iphone and my ipad. If I disable the sync I disable this function.

I need to know why it deletes them intermittently, Why not all of the notes, Why there are a couple hundred notes in yahoo. Most of them are notes I deleted from my iphone/ipad notes app.

And how to resolve the issue so the app syncs accross both devices with or without Yahoo.

Boogaboo214 - Thanks so much! You are a life-saver. I looked in the Notes area in my Yahoo account, and the lost notes were there! I wish we could all give you the 10 points for "This solved my question."

You can go to settings>iCloud and turn notes on there and they will sync to your other devices without being pulled into your email

Okay guys.. Maybe some really screwed the notes by deleting it anything.. but 1st of all, DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING!! My notes was there a moment, and then when i open back my notes, it was clean. So, i googled quickly n came here. There was the setting suggestion, good that it works for people. Please back up before anything. I just restarted my ipad.. AHH..it was there again!!
