Icloud account in Outlook doesn't send mail, errorcode: 0x80004005 Help?

p06 stopped working for me a couple wks ago so i then tried p07 which worked fine until today.

what the *$()#)(*$#)#?

The fix worked for the past four months. Now it is back again!

Is anyone facing same problem? Is there a new SMTP setting?

I am getting:

"Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP)."

I guess I'm glad to know its not just my computer.

I just gave up and don't use my PC for icloud mail anymore

I mean why are we bothering?, it isn't that great.

if you want to bother you can play around and try different numbers

I had used 6 until it didn't work then lately I used 7 until that just decided to no longer work

Turn on SSL for Incoming server and TLS for Outgoing server

I just changed from P06- back to smpt and mail is going through
