Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hi,
So i upgraded ipad to iOS 7 and today with the security update being available I installed it.
Its on the boot screen with the progress bar not moving at all for hours now.
I suspsect the patch is hanging
What was one do when its like this?

This happenned to me as well on a new iPhone 5S. I unplugged the cable, which then showed a screen to plug in to iTunes. This caused the iPhone to get reimaged in restore mode. After applying my latest backup things were working. Good luck!
No luck with that, still on the update screen and its like its bricked or something.

What I did is
on boot it will install and then you home and dry.
scary process though.
