Airplay not working on ios7 and latest apple TV update

I have the same problem. I cannot get Airplay to work either with my iPad (version 3) or my iPhone (4S). I rebooted the Denon amp, rebooted the devices and was able to get AirPlay to appear **momentairily** on the Control Panel. Using iOS 6 it worked fine. Also, my iPhone no longer works with my Zeppelin. When I plug it in, it doesn't play and doesn't charge. What gives? Apple used to be better than this.

Downgrade to iOS 6 to solve this issue with iOS7 & AirPlay.

It doesn't look like there's a simple solution for this but I now have the same problem. Airplay and Home Sharing have stopped working completely. I'm running the latest updates on my iPhone 5, Apple TV and Macbook Pro. The airplay icon will not show up at all, only the airdrop option and home sharing refuses to recognize that it's turned on. All of this worked fine a few days ago and now it's not working at all. Very annoying.

Ok, listening to music on the iPad and wanted it on the TV via AppleTV. Found another thread that stated, "

Swipe up on screen not left to right to access controls with iOS 7" - I did that, it worked (found AirPlay icon and turned it on) and now I have Chicago blasting through my TV speakers..."Such a hard habit to break.."

That is classic! LOL. Sometimes it takes hearing/reading/seeing it 6 different ways or from different perspectives before it registers in the grey matter.

Well I know exactly how to get to Airplay and it just doesn't exist anymore. I'm starting to think it's the Apple TV because home sharing is down too. I may try a reset on that device.

Got it fixed for now! I did a complete restore on the apple tv and set up everything again and now it's working.

It doesn't show or work.

I updated my Iphone5s to 7.0.3 and the airplay icon disappeared and the swiping up just displays airdrop.

Airplay is gone with this update.

Wish Apple would fix this.

Rebooting my wireless router fixed the problem. Airplay and apple remote now works with apple tv

I orginally didnt see airplay, shut down device, waited 5 seconds, opened airplay, restered the device and i saw the icon

Mine was like that. Tried everything people suggested and did not make it work. At the end, I searched if it's something to do with my router and came accross this one: Enable IGMP Snooping. Once I enabled it on the router, everything works.

I also have found that I cannot see the AppleTV. It DOES come on sometimes and asks for my security number. I enter it in and then it works for a bit but then AppleTV loses the connection. Funny thing is that it DOES work fine when I am in Parallels with Windows 8.1!!?!???!?!

Other people in our network CAN see it and access it, I have reset our router but still doesn't recognize some of us and SOME iphones! Our OTHER AppleTV I have no problem connecting to and using!!? Don't understand why. I tried everything that is listed in this thread but still doesn't work right.

It would be nice if an update WORKS as promised!! Nice going apple again!

Problem solved! Enabled the IMGP Snooping feature in our ASUS RT-N56U router. AirPlay connection has been solid for a week now and still going strong!

Same problem. airpaly barely fucntions, visuals poor or non-existent, icon disappears from command centre ofr no reason, either while playing or spontanesouly, and only restores after rebooting modem. Apple replaced Unit, same problems! Has any one had similar problems and found a solution?
