Airplay not working on ios7 and latest apple TV update

Pour les francophones, il faut faire apparaître le menu en pressant le doigt au-dessus du bouton rond et le glisser vers le haut de l'appareil... le menu apparaît avec le menu air play.

ran into similar issues after updating ipad 2 to iOS7 - airplay icon is visible (via swiping up) but nonfunctional...

reboots - ipad2, appleTV, router, PC - did not work

i disabled the 5GHz band of my wireless router - now i only have 2.4GHz wi-fi on, and it's working

must be a bug of some sort with wireless n 5GHz band

And amazing that some people post remarks like yours without taking the time to realize that is not a fix for most of us

I struggled with all of these issues. Here is what fixed mine. in addition to being connected to the same wifi, I actually plugged my apple tv into the router with an ethernet cord. worked right away. no problems now.

I had the exact same problem

When i downloaded the newest apple tv software

Somehow the download turns OFF Airplay.

Just go to settings on Apple TV and go to AirPlay and the click "ON"
