I can't get ios7 on my ipod touch

Only Ipod 5s can get ios 7

Yes, iOS 7 will only install on the iPod Touch 5th generation, none of the older models.

Well there is nothing stopping them from making a edition without the high ram requiring bits. Like iOS 6.7

They should at least release the office apps for free on ipod touch 4th generation. Because I have one as well and am not willing to get the 5th gen. Too expensive. Why can't they make the office apps free for us too?

yah, i am upsate too..why apple is dumping old hardwares whereas android is making wide support for its latest update..and to talk about technology, what is android doing then? its latest update is going to support the lower ranged hardware devices too..i hope apple do the same and do not make their fans get away to android..

You guys think this is apple's idea that they came up with to get more money? You switch to android and you will see the same type of thing. It's technology. It gets "better" because it's "more advanced" and prices go up. Android may be supporting lower ranged hardware devices but they can't do that forever. There will always be people that get the newest devices. I've had IOS 4.2.1 and watched all the IOSs come out. They come out and are super popular but then the new one comes out. There are people that will always competing with technology. There are people that will lose the battle due to prices and stuff. Then there are the people who just don't care and watch everyone else fight. It's been interesting watching everyone fight. If it's really important to you, spend your money on new operating systems. But I've had IOS 4.2.1 and I've turned out alright.

Also, it's just an iPod. If you need it for non-music stuff, then spend the extra money andget an iPhone.

yes, you are right about all the things but i am not a fool to pay extra money and buy an iphone..its already a mistake that i bought ipod.. i have gone through too many restrictions and irritating features in ios..

i didnt mean to do any offeneses.. so lets just stop this right here..and to say truth, now my ipod has just been like a crap..i bought it in 39000 in my country, now i want to sell it and no one dares to pay even 8000 for it..

This is making me upset an ye I know all devices get old but apple iPod 4 generation is not old it's last years product and if they can't keep up to date with this stuff I am going to stop reconnecting apple products I am sorry but I was really looking up to this and it makes me sad! I personally think Apple should release a modified version of iOS 7 to run on iPod Touch 4th Gen, iPad 1st gen, and maybe iPhone 3gs. This version would be specificly modified for the iDevices that have ram under 512 MB, but iOS 7 uses alot of power, but maybe Apple could manage to do it. I wish an Apple employee would take in my ideas ( i have a open mind and big imagination when it comes to getting ideas). This would solve all this anger! Also, this may be hard (or may be impossible in all ways) but maybe There is a way to upgrade your RAM?
