IOS apps and Mac OS X

I have a few important requests for Apple, and I hope they read this.

1) Make all IOS apps also Mac OS X apps. The need is obvious. I can work on the app on both my MacBook Pro and iPhone, and then transfer the information back and forth.

2) Give me the ablity to plan a direction map on my laptop and then transfer it to my iPhone and vise versa.

3) Give me the ability to measure on Apple maps both on my OS X and iPhone. I could use the cursor and plot a line or course which could be measured and shown in SAE or metric.

4) Currently we can make map travel directions with only a few course correction. Allow us to plot any direction course we chose. Then give us the ability to make predetermined way points for distance and stopping. Generally, GPS apps only allow way points after you have arrived at the point and not prior to arriving at a point.

5) Allow the messaging or email of all app info (especially maps).

!) Impossible. Two different operating systems. iOS vs Mac OS X

iOS apps cannot run on a Mac and vice versa.

Considering that Apple is bringing iBooks to OS X and that Kindle does that now, I would say it is possible. Google uses their maps on both platforms. APlle uses Mail and Safari. They need to finish the process.

They are totally different applications written for the different operating system but with the same name.

There are already some third party developers which make iOS apps, and make similar OSX apps, and call them by the same name, and even allow them to use iCloud to share data between them.It sounds to me like you need to use the link already provided to you to make similar suggestions for Apple to do with their apps. As you mentioned, Safari on OSX and Safari on iOS can share bookmarks between them. Pages and Numbers on iOS and on OSX can share data files between them. Calendars on iOS and OSX can share data between them. Address Book/Contacts on iOS and OSX already can share information. You need to suggest to Apple what other apps they have which you feel could benefit fromsharing information.
