Can't get auto image (runaround) to work in Quark 6.5
Hi there -- I've done text wraps in Quark 4 with no problem, but in Quark 6.5, when I select a picture that I want to run text around and select "Auto Image," the text does not wrap; it just lays over the image. Any suggestions?
But I will ask a question anyway. Is the picture box brought to front? Items that have runaround have to be brought to front. In addition, your copy must either be on the same layer as the picture box or on a lower layer. If the copy is on a higher layer runaround won't work.
Hi Erik -- I did bring the picture box to front, but that just covered the first portion of the text. It's strange because in the runaround option, auto image is selected and it looks like it's working in the preview mode, but in the actual application, it doesn't.
Thanks very much for the forum link -- I'll post the question there.
While waiting for the Quark site to send me my confirmation e-mail, I went in to my document and played around one more time, and fluked into the answer: There was something called "Threshold" which was set by default to 10 percent. I changed it to zero, and then the wrap worked.
