Now, there's some programs running I don't know if I need or want, like perian, growl, houdah spot helper, iTunes helper, etc, and I have no idea why there are two Dropbox apps showing. Also, I realized this incessant re-freshing didn't happen until I installed 5.1.9, so I looked into how I could downgrade back to 5.1.7 or 8, whichever would be more stable.
But in doing so, I discovered one of my only enabled extensions, ClickToPlug is way, way outdated, yet, when I hit the update extensions button, it kept saying everything was, so I manually downloaded the most current one, and will install it, soon as I close out Safari.
I also don't know why I can't get Java to keep opening itself back up, after I close it, plus, it's deselected in my preferences, so it's not supposed be running at all, any idea what's up with that? thanks....
