Country-specific app store - what!!!
I live in the UK, I'm now in the US and want to do something as mundane as download a subway map for NYC. There's a free app for that. But when I click install, it tells me I can't do it because my account is only valid for the UK app store. What !! Since when!!! And how inconvenient - doesn't Apple expect its customers to download apps when away from home?
So it's telling me to connect to the UK app store. But how? While in New York, it connects me to the US store... how do I get round this, why is Apple so stupid, and since when did they make this change without telling anyone!
Help, please!
