Ios7 problems, safari crashes

This new iOS 7 has ruined the whole ipad experience for me. I use this as a browser, email tool and music library. The browser randomly crashes on a very frequent bases, some times a page opens and other times the same page crashes safari and I have to relaunch. The browser seems sluggish I feel like I just took a giant step backwards. Email is clunky and slow to respond, requires multiple touches to change folders. Music sound terrible, has hangs in sound and generally sounds glitchy. Not at all enjoyable.

I wish I had just kept dismissing the pop up asking me to update.

If you asked me a week ago about the ipad I would have told you it was great. If it was lost or stolen I would run out that day and buy a replacement. Ask me now and I would say good riddance.

Apple really blew it on this one, they took an excellent product and turned it into a frustrating pile of hardware. If ios7 was not intended for the ipad 2 why are their servers pushing it out to devices that they should not.

I have searched and found that I am not alone in these problems but have not seen any solutions.

Thanks! It turns out it was on. Poking around in the data doesn't show me how they'd find out about hangs though.

I keep getting hung up on random web pages on reputable major news sites like NBC. It won't scroll at all. If I hit refresh, it hangs again. If I hit the back arrow and then reload the page by hitting the forward arrow it may or may not hang. Drives me nuts. As it's likely to be reloading from cache when I do that I don't get the different results.

Yes roadkill .. my above post " iOS 7.1 beta 3 .. OUT NOW " includes fixes for Safari & most other bugs in iOS 7

http://miapplesinteractive.blogspot.com.au/2014/01/ios-71-beta-3-out-now.html

Our Safari is STILL holding after this install which was released to Apple Devs some 8+ hours ago.

By this time of day (2pm Sydney) the crash count here would be way over 50 .. BUT today .. NONE!

Again - NO Safari or ANY other crashes .. smooth scrolling at last is WORKING just fine .. but we will keep testing and post up any bugs that will occour .. and that will happen as sure as nights follows days .. at APPLE.

I am definitely not trying to hijack the thread, but in addition to the Safari crashes and iOS crashes, has anyone noticed the Wi-Fi is slower? Pages seem to load slower, anything on YouTube is a pain half the time. My internet is well above US average, and my router has whatever that new thing is that the Air has no, MiMo, maybe, I don't remember. But since either the Air or iOS 7, not sure which, everything feels slower. Is this just me?

DAY 2 without my iPad air. I sure miss the ease of use. It is so wicked fast at many things. Internet surfing and crashing. This "repair" replacement is starting become a real hassle. I originally had a VERY smooth interaction with Apple. Then it all went south when I began this "return repair". Very frustrating to say the least. TIM COOK you have my e-mail and phone number. I am a nobody to you but your product means the world to many including me. Please re-call ALL these products FIX them and return them with a better IOS! More power would be nice but hey lets start small.

I haven't noticed that, but this thread is 22 pages long.

You ought to start your own post or contribute to one of the myriad others describing slow wi-fi.

Besides, this thread is ridiculous.

There is a problem with safari, but the ranting and raving is out of control.

You want a nexus?

Go get it.

I've used it and I'd take an iPad with no safari over a nexus, I wouldn't even use a tablet if I had to use a nexus.

You think Tim Cook ought to call you?

Please check in to your nearest psychiatric service center for treatment.

You are never going to buy another Apple product ever in your life?

Great!
