HOW TO RESTORE YOUR IPOD IF THE HOME BUTTON IS BROKEN

Restore your iPod with iTunes. Connect it and click Restore.

If you need to restore your iPod because you disabled it (due to a wrong passcode) this won't help. You can't enter Recovery Mode without the home button. Looks like to need to get it replaced or fixed. Or you find a extra computer software which will restore it.

A good replace for the Home Button is AssitiveTouch. Enable it in Settings --> General.

Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs and then restore:
