Since upgrading to IOS7 my Ipad, a series 3, keeps dropping the Wifi link. I can get it back by restarting or forgetting and reassigning it but that is not the point. Had no problems at all prior to this. Anyone any idea or is this common now?
Try a Reset - hold down both the Sleep & Home buttons on your iPad until the Apple logo is displayed.
If still problematic,unplug your router for about 3 mins, once booted up try again, all ok?

No, afraid this did not work. As I said it works if I restart or refresh but the for no apparent reason will subsequently at some point stop working. It must be an IOS7 problem!
Try this... Reset all settings
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings
