iOS 7 mail no content

How do I prevent having the Mail app on an iPad 3 w/IOS 7 tell me the message has no content? This started after the upgrade to Ios 7.

My workaround is to move the message to a different folder; however, I have never had to do that before IOS 7.

I have seen this now on an iPad 2 and iPad 3 updated to IOS 7.0.2 . In each case the sender was an AOL user. Also quite accidentally stumbled on the same workaround, which succeeded in every instance. It's a bug.

I have this same question about how to recover a draft message that now displays "this message has no content" and I am updated on my Iphone to IOS 9.1

I have a very lengthy draft that I am desperate to recover but there does not seem to be a way to move a folder in draft to another folder

pressing the new message icon to bring up the message, results in opening the draft message as a blank

I know it must have something to do with the server and how things change status if you have read them, but I don't know what to do to fix this

thanks
