NO SOUND FROM INTERNET
can't get any sound from you tube or any other internet, but i get sound from other applications.
iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
no sound from internet like youtube.

Using Safari for YouTube ??
Try troubleshooting extensions ..
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
i never installed any extensions. its only you tube though
Youtube relys heavily on Flash, navigate to www.Adobe.com and update your version of Flash.
i have the latest flash player, and still no sound.
im good now. i just had to turn the volume on the youtube videos back up. the volume next to the play triangle. some how it got turned down, and it was the default action for all the videos. thanks for trying to help though.
