Network printer works for all but me

I am on the office network, suddenly yesterday the printer stoped working, but only for me. When I try to add the printer I enter the correct IP and the printer answers (it identifies it self as a HP LJ 300-400 color MFP M375-M475). But when I click "Add" it cant communicate with it, I den skip this step and the printer seams to be added, but when trying to print nothing happens.

I have tried to delete the printer and restart the computer (I have a Macbook Air), dont work.

I have checked the other users config, it is the same IP, the WI-FI is the same but I cant print.

The printer is not paused, I have tried to pause/unpaus etc.

Any one know what to do?

Check the printers IP address, it might of changed if it was not assigned a static IP when it was setup. If the other people in your office are using Windows, Windows can deal with that sometimes and Mac OS X can't at all.

Try Searching for the printer instead of inputting a IP address for it.

Well there is the problem. The printer is on a different Subnet. Both printer and computers have to have the same first 3 sets of 3 numbers, 10.10.X. Your setup of printer 10.10.0.x and your Mac having 10.10.1.x will never work.

If you check other computers in your office they will have the 10.10.0.x range of IP addresses.

Yes Release and renew the IP address on your Mac. It should be set to Auto IP assignment from the DHCP server in your internet router. Why you are getting a differnt IP address I don't know unless you statically assigned one.

No, the other computers are on the same subnet as me and I have not had this problem before and I did not do anything yesterday. It just stoped working. Everything else works well, no problem with internet or anything like that.

Right click in the Printer area in Print & Scan in System Preferences and select "Reset printing system". Then try adding that printer again.

Thanks, but that did not solve the issue, it acts in the exact same way.

I have also tried to reset the printing system and then restarting the computer. Reinstall the printer. But no.

Nope, everybody else in the ofice can use it and they do use the same IP as me. All are on Macbook Air and Macbook Pro. Nothing happens when I try to search.

Well you have fallen pry to just another OS X bug.

what is the IP address of the printer and what is your Air's IP address? Are they in the same subnet range?
