How do I change icloud email when my apple ID has been updated to new email? Because of the update on apple ID, when I try to delete icloud account I have to put in the password, and it says username or password is invalid (because no longer apple ID).

I could not find a way to retype the AppleID, only the password. But I found a way to accomplish what I needed by restoring from a backup.

Sorry this is such an old post reply, but did it save all your pics etc. when you re-signed in? Having the same issue but didn't want to sign out for fear of losing my pics too.

No. I couldnt get it to work so I did a factory reset on my computer, and then re logged in. When I access my iCloud, there were no photos or anything in it :( nothing was saved.
