How do I change icloud email when my apple ID has been updated to new email? Because of the update on apple ID, when I try to delete icloud account I have to put in the password, and it says username or password is invalid (because no longer apple ID).

I could not find a way to retype the AppleID, only the password. But I found a way to accomplish what I needed by restoring from a backup.

Sorry this is such an old post reply, but did it save all your pics etc. when you re-signed in? Having the same issue but didn't want to sign out for fear of losing my pics too.

No. I couldnt get it to work so I did a factory reset on my computer, and then re logged in. When I access my iCloud, there were no photos or anything in it :( nothing was saved.

How to solve it,then? That not a solution you know? Think before you post! Wasting my time!

True, and when the old acct is blocked for "safety reasons" you can't change the email address for they ask you to answer key questions that you forgot all the the right answers. So what to do ?
