Beeping during call on iPhone 5s

I purchased the iPhone 5s yesterday and have it on the ATT system. During my first call today I noticed there was a beep that would occur randomly. It sounded as if the other party was pushing a button. This is my 3rd iPhone during the past 4 yrs so I am comfortable in saying it is not a notification. There was also no incoming call during this time. The other party could not hear the beep. This was not an issue on my 4s that I upgraded from.

yeah some users are not receiving/sending imessages but can receive text messages...if you send an imessage to a user, i will say not delivered in red...so then I have to turn my imessage off to text them...the problem is on their phone and they have to do a network reset..imessage will work for a short period of time and then its back to them not receiving/sending imessages...so to me that is more annoying then this beep we all have...

Hi

-received 3rd iPhone 5s this past Thursday, still same beeps occurring while on the phone. Apple has stated they are working with AT&T but when you contact AT&T they state this as a very peculiar problem which is so hard to troubleshoot because they cannot gather evidence. Next time I call them, I will have to try a 3wAy call in order to try to get them to hear it or go to the AT&T store and place the phone on their ear.

-some have stated that it might be higher toned frequencies/voices setting off the beep.

-some have stated maybe it's a tapping

-maybe an alien lol I liked that one

-I think at this point it has to be a problem with the service AT&T as my research has led me to this conclusion

-I will have the other line in my account SIM card changed n have them restore network settings.if I still experience the beeps, then we'll see from there!

I have this same issue, on another thread I found, the common denominator with everyone is they either had a "lifeproof" or "incipio" case on their phone. I currently have the incipio case so I too fit this description. According to the other thread, after removing the case, the beeping stopped. Bummer as these cases are intended to keep the phone in good condition (I always drop mine) but that beeping is so horrible, might have to try a less intense case... Hopefully this helps!

Still waiting to hear back but to think having a certain case causes the beeps sounds a little crazy, I do not think it has anything to do with a case or not. In regards to cell swapping, not buying that either. I am in one spot for most of the day, and happens the most while not traveling. I am really thinking it is an iOS 7 software issue with the GSM hardware set(ATT). Most people who are having issues have an iPhone 5S which makes sense considering they shipped with iOS 7. As soon as my friends with older iphones upgraded to iOS 7 they are hearing this beep as well. Looking forward to hearing what ATT says as well as if the beeps go away with a new update to iOS 7. I do not think this is a hardware issue.
