Safari iOS 7 keeps flashing previously closed tabs upon reopen? Security Problem

Hello, I am using an iPad 2 on iOS 7 with safari in private mode. Safari on iOS 7 has a bug (iOS 6 didn't behave this way) where you can close tabs and leave the safari app and when you come back to open safari, it will flash an old tab on the screen before loading a fresh blank page. The weirdest thing is the tab isn't even the most recent tab, just something random during the day. I could just picture this causing problems for people e.g. Husband shopping for surprise trip online and expedia flashes on screen for his wife even though he thought he'd safely closed the tab or any other situation where you don't people getting a peek at your business. What is the point of private mode if safari chooses to randomly display previously closed tabs to anyone?

Please post if you've noticed the same behavior.

I read all of this thread trying to find a solution and of course there is none to fix the bug. What I was interested in mostly was to get rid of the current image popping up on Safari via the multitask screen (I'm on iPhone 5, iOS8.3). None of the things mentioned in this thread worked for me. But I finally managed to at least get rid of the pesky recurring snapshot by resetting "all content and settings". Of course had to back up all of my data and settings. Is iTunes and then restored settings, but it worked. NOT a fix but solved my immediate dilemma.

I'm completely done with you Apple. I hate that there isn't a single place to legitimately voice complaints anymore. If you don't like a product, your only recourse is to not buy them AGAIN (for they obviously got your money already). We are entering a technological dark age, where nothing gets better anymore. Yes, I used my ipad to look at some ****. And now every effing time I use it I get reminded with a nice flash of a cached tubegalore page with butt plugs and ******. Great. That is exactly what I think Apple does to people now anyway. I would be happy that since I can no longer use my ipad in public, I am advertising less for this vomitous tech company, but seeing as how about 75% of the students in my university are already using MS Surface instead, it's like Apple already did the work.

Maybe eventually someone will figure out how to fix this, because you know, its difficult engineering to fix software bloat this bad.

You can do the following setting

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click General and make sure that "Close windows when quitting an app" is selected

It will be change your last reopen web page setting. You can also set any website as homepage to your safari browser. When you every time open safari it will be first open home page.

Not terribly relevant to iOS devices.
