My headphones work, but when I plug them into my iPhone (5) the left ear bud doesn't work. This happens with all headphones. Do I need to take it in and pay to get it fixed.

Trinidads, it sounds like an issue with the phone if it happens on multiple headsets. If your iphone is still under warrenty than you shouldn't have to pay.

First check there is no debris in headphone socket

Do a reset

The warranty on everything in the box is 12 months ,most iPhone 5 are still under warranty so take it to an Apple Store genius bar, iPhone & earbuds
