Walmart refurbished vs Apple refurbished?
I'm thinking about getting a refurbished iPod Touch (5th Gen). If I buy from Walmart, will the product be repaired to the same standard as from Apple (new case, new battery, etc.)?
You would have to ask Walmart what they do. However, based on posts here of warranty replacements supplied by Walmart Apple may not do the refurbishment. The replacements came with a new back but with no SN or, I think, Apple logo on the back.
I myself would only buy a refurbished one from Apple. I have purchased a refurbished Apple TV and Mac Min from Apple and have not have any problems.
