Voicemail messages won't delete on 7.0.2

since i've updated to ios 7.0 and then to 7.0.2, I can't delete voicemail messages all the time. They will delete and then reappear 1-3 seconds later. It sometimes acts like the screen freezes up. Verizon it the cell carrier. Any ideas?

I have the same problem and here's what I did on my iPhone 5. a few minutes ago.

1. Went to settings and changed phone to airplane mode.

2. Opened voice mail and did nothing.

3. Exited out of voice mail.

4. Went back to settings and changed phone back from airplane.

5. Opened voice mail and was able to delete my old messages just like that.

What happened I don't know. I just it worked for me.

Hope it work for some of you.

We should not have to go through this much trouble.

Hope Apple has a fix real soon.

I have owned iPhones since they first came out and they have always worked perfectly, my Iphone 5 is a totally different story. My voicemail keeps coming back. I have tried everything.

It seems like Android phones are the new standard and Apple iPhones are the new Chevy.

Apple has provided us with several updates, but fix to the voicemail problem.

This doesn't work.

Apples phone is the equivalent of having your desert (Apps) before you have your dinner. Sound great when your 4 years old but when you are mature and realize you first need nutrition (a functional phone) your realize it's not great to eat desert before dinner.

I really would love a phone that the batter lasted more than 1/2 a day & that I could get voicemail on. Currently Apple offers a product called iphone that is anything but. I should be called iComputer, because it is super awesome at lots of high level computing functions (mainly by 3rd party vendors) but really aweful as a phone.

I think they should open up the phone portion of their phone and let people make apps, a third party could do a much better job of making THE PHONE SECTION of this handheld super computer with a 90 minute battery life.

I think Apple shoudl make two phones:

One for people that have jobs - this one would have an all day battery and voice mail that worked and wasn't make of ridiculously fragile materials.

One for people that don't have jobs. This one would be fantastic at games and could hold one million apps and be made of sugar candy or something similarly fragile as the current Iphone and have a 90 min battery life, like the current iphone.

APPLE? Anyone? Hellooooooo?
