looking for template for rent receipts

I have several rental properties. I am looking for a Numbers Template that would be very basic, but would allow me to keep track of the date, and method of payment on a page for each property. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Hi Gwen,

If you can't find a suitable template with a web search, here is a quick draft done in Numbers that might suit.

User uploaded file

Based on weekly payment of rent for one rental property.

Column A formatted as Date and Time but displaying only the Date component.

Cell A2 contains the starting date of the rental agreement.

Cell A3 contains the formula =A2+7 to increment the due date by 7 days. Fill Down.

Body Cells in Columns B, C, D formatted as Currency (2 decimal places).

Column B is the weekly rent. On 22 July the rent went up (highlighted in blue).

Cell D2 contains the formula =C2-B2

Cell D3 contains the formula =C3-B3+D2. Fill Down

Conditional formatting can reveal a negative balance as red text (or you can manually format it as red).

Body Cells in Column E are formatted as Pop-Ups:

First Pop-Up item is a space (to appear blank).

When you get one Table working as you want, Menu > File > Save as Template. Then add a blank Table for each rental property. Each Table can be on a separate Sheet for ease of printing.

Ian.
