iOS 7 & Google Maps app

please excuse me if this is a duplicate thread !

has anyone experienced difficulty with Google Maps after updating to iOS 7 ?

I have an iPhone 5- updated to iOS 7 nearly 2 weeks ago.

ever since, my "current location" in Google Maps has not worked: "the blue dot" is off by 1-6 city blocks (up to 1/4 mile+).. in other words, its location is neither accurate nor consistent.

I have tried-

a) checking and re-entering my 'Home address' in Settings

b) deleting the app and re-installing it from iTunes

c) sent 2 feedback messages to Google from my iPhone but have not heard back (probably too big a company to respond to queries?)

d) tried Apple Care for suggestions.. but, as expected, was told they cannot help with non-Apple related questions

d) probably applies to this thread ? ? !

but thought I'd ask if others are experiencing the same problem-

if yes, then it may point to a lag between iOS 7 and Google updating its app to sync properly ?

rather than a problem with my device/install only..

?
