microphone-using apps are not recognized in iOS 7.02 ??

As many times stressed, iOS 7 requires confirmation of use of the micro under "privacy". However, on my iPhone 4s, not ANY respective application (skype, noise-meters, shazam...) is appearing in the menu of "microphone"; so I can´t activate the use of the microphone for these apps.

Re-installed the apps, Re-booted the iphone - nothing helps.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Did you actually try to use the microphone within the app, like making a call in Skype, because the iOS doesn't recognize the microphone using by itself, the app has to request when it needs to use the microphone for the first time. So when u make your first call using skype or any app, a message will pop asking your authentication. Once you click ok, it will be then added to the microphone under privacy. Once adde you will able to change it for your future use .

Problem solved!

The iOS 7 is confuse enough to have duplicate entries for privacy measures: apart from the easy to find Privacy / Microphone settings, another layer restricts access of Apps to the ressources:

go to Settings / General / Restrictions: if you still know the passwort to enter, you find here again a long list of Apps, their allowed content, and what they can use (such as microphone). If these entries are corrected, the microphone can be used and the apps appear in the list of the privacy/mirophone menu!

Although in principal valuable to have detailed control over the privacy settings, it is indeed quite confusing. I even am not sure whether I did myself initial settings, or whether this was done automatically when switching from OS6 to 7...
