Game Center blank white screen - can't play games

I need help. I cannot play my games anymore because there is something wrong with Game Center.

This is what I get when I open Game Center.

This is my Game Center settings screen.

(spinning forever)

I cannot reinstall GC because it's a native iOS app. I've tried closing the app itself, along with the Settings app and restarting my iPhone several times, no dice.

Any advice?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.2

This is what worked for me for the blank, white screen when trying to access game center:

- close all running apps

- go into airplane mode

- power off the device

- power on the device

- go to settings -> game center and log out of the game center. For me this was not previously accessible.

- disable airplane mode and enable wifi

- log back into gamecenter from settings->game center

Thanks very much to the other victims of this defect in iOS for sharing the fix which worked for me too.

But how absolutely rediculous and pathetic that we should have to reset all setting and then go back and re-enter all preferences to fix this problem. This is far short of the quality expected form Apple.

Flaws of this kind are exactly what causes corporations to fall from the top of their fields, and if not corrected to become obsolete. Are we seeing a glimse of things to come here?

I have Game Center app as well, it saves my progress through all of my games. You don't need to launch Game Center to launch a game. After updating to iOS 9, my Game Center app on my iPad it has turned complete white screen. And Megapolis HD is no longer loading, and the app is no longer available in the Apple Store. I tried these steps resetting my iPad by holding the power button and the Home button simultaneously. This doesn't work. The next one I backed up everything to iCloud it wasn't necessary to restore and erase my iCloud data. Then I reset my settings, re-entered my passcode and everything else my passcode, my wallpaper home screen and lock screen. This doesn't work. I contacted the developer they are working on the problem Megapolis HD not loading. On my iPhone doesn't have Megapolis HD but the Game Center did go completely white after resetting my iPhone. It went better but games work after all devices to iOS 9. The other games came out with compbility to iOS 9 updates. Other games didn't.

SSince doing the latest iOS 9 update I have the dreaded Game Center White screen and now my favourite game won't load. Game developer is blaming Game Center but the other game all load ok but I didn't use Game Center to access these games. I have tried resetting all settings hard reboots and even rolled back to a back up I had from beginning of August but. Itching is working. I'm at the stage of throwing the iPhone 6 in the bin! Any further suggestion would Be very helpful. Game in question is vega conflict

if you have iCloud log out and reset all settings. log back into iCloud your phone should be back where it is. You have to put in the passcode for your server again. Redo lock number, wallpaper. your phone will work again. The game developer will have to Come out with iOS 9 updates. you will be used the game again. Some games will load and those games will freeze some times. the app developer for Megapolis HD sent me an upload package. My Megapolis HD works again. But Game Center still white screen. Game Center works it loads your saved data on the game you're playing. There will be a slight delay of more than 5 minutes of hanged up or frozen screen. You have to close and reopen the app till it loads. You cannot reinstall app Game Center cause it's not in Apple Store. Apple has to find the solution to Game Center on some devices it didn't work. And others devices works. Don't throw out your iPhone 6 on my iPhone 5C when I can no longer used my iPhone I had to force reset it. When the problem came again, I reset all settings. And went through the whole process in setting my iPhone 5C back the way it was. Game Center was no longer white. I logged out of my iCloud and re-log in again. After reinstalling iOS 9. So Game Center can also be used from my iPhone to my iPad 2.

Having this same issue on my iPad2. I have just 2 games that use Game Center. One works but it takes a minute or 2 before my user ID appears. The other, Real Racing 3, only works in guest mode and won't load Game Center ID at all. When I open Game Center, I get a white screen. When I go to settings and try to open the Game Center settings, I just get the spinning wheel. Doing the reset did absolutely nothing. I have not tried the hard reset yet. Sure seems like Apple messed this up. Frustrating!

TThis problem irked me for awhile, and I couldn't find a solution. Later I found that if you had changed Apple accounts in iTunes but had not logged out of your account in Game Center, it would result in a blank screen and you wouldn't be able to access the settings to log out. You first need to log back into your old account in iTunes, and then proceed to log out in the Game Center settings. If this doesn't apply to you I suggest restoring through a backup or resetting your settings.

Tried this but unfortunately on the step where you log out of GC, after clicking "log out" the game center section of the settings app became unresponsive (ie the bug). Still on airplane mode.

- close all running apps

- go into airplane mode

- power off the device

- power on the device

- go to settings -> game center and log out of the game center. For me this was not previously accessible.

- disable airplane mode and enable wifi

- log back into gamecenter from settings->game center

So I was able to finally do the following method but I had to perform the step of logging out of game center *as fast as possible*, seems that there is some process going on once you power on that gets game center locked, but if you manage to log out of game center quick enough, then after enabling airplane mode again it works.

close all running apps

- go into airplane mode

- power off the device

- power on the device

- go to settings -> game center and log out of the game center. For me this was not previously accessible.

- disable airplane mode and enable wifi

- log back into gamecenter from settings->game center
