i can not sync my iphone to my Outlook calendar

I have been working on this for over a year and I tried numerous things, but I cannot sync my iphone or ipad to my Outlook Calendar or Contacts.

I have to tell you I am trying to sync it to my SBCglobal account, but what I'd really love to do is move my calendar off of sbc and onto gmail (but that's a separate issue and I can handle that - I've already moved the contacts). I have Outlook 2010 and MS Windows 7, and I have updated to the latest Apple IOS 7.02 or whatever the latest one is called.

Currently I have 4 email accounts

2 different Work MS Exchange emails

1 personal Email (gmail)

1 non-personal email for all marketing and spam kind of email (sbcglobal)

So, as you can imagine, it gets kind of confusing. The lack of syncronizing started when i started work over 1.5 years ago.
