My Ipod Touch went dead

MY 4g ipod touch was working these 2 years. However the last few days, the lock screen button got stuck and doesnt work, and later the power button wasn't responding, but is now working somehow. Because of some technical issues i decided to restore, and after that the ipod went dead. I have read about this trick where u hold the home and lock screen button, but since lock screen is stuck and home button doesnt work very well, what am i supposed to do? Please help me. This happened 2 days ago.

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

it didnt work.... with recboot, i ran the program and chose the exit recovery mode option, and then a program opens with black background, saying in white letters will attempt to kick off connected devices out of recovery mode or something like that... however nothing happened... i downloaded those files you wrote about but still nothing... Am i doing something wrong?
