Safari on ipad2 ios7 does not clear cache or history properly

Hi, sometimes i get a ghost image or what to call it in the safari browser. What happens is that after clearing cache and browserlog i get an image of a previous page after starting safari the next time. It also happens after i close it completely, and not having it running in the background. The image of the previous website is only visible for a second before safari clears the screen and i get the blank/new safaripage to start with. But this leads me to belive that safari is not really clearing the log/cache. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to fix it? It's not really a probleme per se, but it does mean safari is not working like it should.

iPad 2, iOS 7.0.2

I recently started having this issue on my iPhone and think I've figured out the fix, don't know if it will work on iPad. Go to Settings->Safari->Advanced->Website Data. Click Edit to remove specific items or scroll to the bottom and click Remove All Website Data.

This is still a problem. Quite surprising to see a 6 month old web page appear for a couple of seconds before moving on. You never what old page will appear or when. I have cleared cache, rebooted IPAD and also rebooted router to ensure it was not cached there. Any response from Apple?

I noticed that there is another Safari Memory history Cache not cleared.

Settings>General>Usage>Manage Storage>Safari>History = 428KB

I see no way to clear this cache as the official method does not seem to affect this number.

This could be the source of the brief latent appearance of past web pages.

User45 I have noticed that Safari leaves history after clearing too and it never changes for some reason.

Apple should really inform this problem and I am surprised no one has really noticed these problems.

Hope Apple fixes these problems.

I Just tried both options in settings offered here. I hope it works. Because, my friend visited that website. I swear.
