The 2012 uses micro sata connector for the SSD

2013 uses a PCI-e SSD

That I do not know. Typically if you have a laptop repair toolkit ($20) it will have 1 of the 3 typcial pentalope sizes.

I am also looking for adapter to use with Macbook Air 13 Mid 2013 and using new type SSD pictured in the post above.

Even OWC doesnt have SSD for last years 2013 Macbook Air models.....

On the description it sais 2010/2011. I think I actually have adapter like that and I will open it later but I am 99% sure that 2010/2011 Macbook Air SSD was completely different than 2013 SSD pictured above.

I had a similar incident with my mid 2013 macbook air. Need to pull out the SSD, but to date havent found any 3rd party enclosures or adapters for the new PCIe interface. Daluder or Michal9 could you confirm if this product is correct and allowed you to pull the data off?
