Safari constant crashing.... and slowing up my whole computer...

I have a MacBook Pro mid 2012

2.5 GHz Intel Core 5

4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

Safari 6.0.5

Safari is crashing on me with only 2 windows open and 2 tabs each window.....

It is crashing within 10 minutes of launching it..

this has been happening for 2 weeks....

I heard that extentions can do this, BUT, I had no extentions at the time this started...

I added a few to see what would happen, and this is not making any difference....

Extentions I added are Ad Block- I did not have this before....

ebay, Translator...... anyway.... It crashes with and without these few extention and has

for over 2 weeks.....

It is getting to the point where I am having to use Chrome and Firefox....

I LOVE Safari and have been a huge fan for a long time.....

Can somebody please help me with this?????

I am so sorry, I wanted to make sure you get credit for the time you took to help me....

You really did help my computer.... Though, it is running badly again ...
