iPhone contacts missing - no names, only numbers
There are reports of iPhone contacts suddenly missing -- showing only numbers, no names (except for Facebook contacts).
Anyone have a fix?
I tried this and all it does is show me web links.

Deleting emails should have no effect on Contacts.

What happened? All of a sudden I have no names for all of my text communications—just numbers.
This is happening to me now with my iPhone 6s. I've had it for a bit over a year now and it's acting strange. Anyway I don't know how to fix it. Tried everything.
I went through this thread and none of the fixes worked for me. I'm syncing with Outlook on a PC maybe I'm different.
Well that wiped out everyone of my 2100 contacts completely, AWESOME !! Thanks bunches
Deleted WhatsApp and problem has stopped!
