Thanks Apple. You have officially killed my Iphone 4 with IOS7. It is just a slow piece of junk now. I DEMAND IOS 6.1.3 back!

Listen to your customers. IOS 7 should NEVER have been released on Iphone 4.

Works fine on mine.

And demanding things won't work. You agreed to the update when you agreed to the terms & conditons. The update was optional, not required. If you really, really want iOS 6 back, get an iPhone 3GS, or find an iPhone 4, 4S or 5 that hasn't been updated to iOS 7 yet. But be warned, if the 4, 4S or 5 ever need to be restored because of a software crash, you'll end up with iOS 7. Plus, many apps will start requiring iOS 7 to work or update, so you may have no choice in the future if you want to use those particular apps. But don't worry, the native apps that came on the iPhone won't ever reuire you to update to iOS 7.

you are right, but what we didnt agree to was making our phone a usless paperweight!

Apple screwd us so they could sell new phones... thats **** from my perspective, my phone was just fine

my wife's phone same phone, just didnt do the 7 update, still perfect fast and reliable.

mind you apple i was going to buy a new phone anyway as mine is over 3 years old and never had a cover, so its time, i was looking forward to turning it into a music player for the car.

while i appericate the phone working perfect for years, i do not appericate you guys screwing us all in order to sell more product! thats not good business, though i assume no one really gives a ****! and while im on my soap box, pay your ******* share of US taxes!

Could not have said it better myself.. well done.

Instead of forking out another $1000 on a new iphone 5S, I went and bought a second hand ( near new ) 4S. This way Apple doesn't get any more money from me.!! This is a principal thing apple.! You are killing your loyal fans! No wonder Android has taken over the market share with stunts like this.

I have seen IO7 work very well on the 4S so this was the cheapest option. I will sell the 4 to some poor un suspecting person who doesn't realise how bad IOS7 runs on this phone.

For total units sold? Yes, that's true. Because Android makes a lot of cheap, inexpensive phones.

But for total sales value? Apple still wins.

The profit data illustrates how Apple’s primary rival is really Samsung—not Android. Samsung made 53 percent of the profit for the quarter. Apple and Samsung combined actually add up to more than 100 percent of all profit for the mobile industry, because all of the other players, like HTC, LG, Motorola, Nokia, and BlackBerry lost money.

Apple sells less than 13% of all smartphones in quantity, but makes 56% of the profit.

There are no Apple shareholders losing any sleep over this issue, you can be assured of that.

There is no Apple approved method to downgrade your iOS. Anything you are referring to is not supported, and cannot be discussed on this forum.

All that can be said is that using non-Apple authorized service & procedures will void your device warranty, and able has also begun taking a stronger stance on this issue, in some cases permanently blocking the device and/or associated Apple ID from Apple-related services.

Use any non-authorized services or procedures at your own risk.
