logic pro x Crashes while using flex pitch

Hi all,

I have been using Logic for quite a while and recently upgraded to Logic pro X. Everything was working fine until now. I am working on a session where i am using flex pitch and for some odd reason the session crashes the moment i move any note on the flex pitch.
I found another thread on the same forum where one person commented that it got fixed with the 10.0.1 update for him, However i am on the 10.0.3 and the problem still persists.

Any assistance will be very helpful

Hello Eriksimon. Firstly thanks for replying. Yes it is happening every time. I tried closing the session and quit logic pro x and tried all over again. The moment I open the flex track Window and move any note higher/lower it closes and gives me an error message saying Logic Prix quit unexpectedly.

I'm gonna try your suggestion of moving the audio file to a new track. Hope it works. Will keep you posted. Thanks a lot!

Flex pitch is still a bit buggy. Three out of four times when I engage it (when Logic starts analyzing the file) it will crash at the end of the analyses; on reopening, the analyses is either done again and completes just fine, or the analyses is done and it just works. I cannot remember flex crashing on editing though, that always works for me.

Does it crash every time, or can you use it after one crash?

If it keeps crashing Logic, you could try to first disengage flex, move the audio file to a new track, engage flex pitch again and see if that works better.
