Finally bought the latest version of PARALLELS and everything downloaded, installed was is working perfectly. You can have all the joys & trials of messing around with Boot Camp. I will not try using it again. For me, it was a royal pain that appears to have too many bad programming issues. 😟

Just upgrade my Mountain Lion to Maverick on my MacBookPro. This upgrade doesnot affect my Windows 8.1 Bootcamp. All runs fine. Before that I backed-up first the MacIntosh HD and Bootcamp Partition.
Bootcamp Windows 7 update service disabled after Mavericks upgrade.
Microsoft support diagnostic reports damaged or corrupt files. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2730071
It appears Apples Mavericks upgrade reduces the bootcamp partition to create an OS X 10.9 restore. This may be the culprit.
Meaning until a fix appears, a clean install of bootcamp Windows 7 is required after Mavericks or otherwise no updates (a royal pain in the wazoo if you're a developer with extenisve install setup time needed).
Apple Support can Apple engineering investiage?
My issue with Mavericks and windows 7, is when I try to use the drivers from boot camp windows wont load, blue screen of death. Without the drivers it is fine. This seems to be an apple issue to me. What did they do? I am sure they are in no rush to fix this
The fact that this page,www.apple.com/support/bootcamp, indicates that the last versions were released 3-14-13 would suggest no. I had the same question, but going here made me a lot more confident.
