Does anyone know if IWeb will be compatibile with Mavericks?

Mavericks was just announced today and before I even think about updating to the newest platform, I need to know if it will be compatible with IWeb or will I be forced to look elsewhere for web software.

iWeb is dead and it only works properly under Snow Leopard. Even then, a lot of the widgets are defunct.

It is way past time when you should be using a relacement - not just looking for one.

If you want to continue using iWeb, you should have it on an external firewire drive running Snow Leopard and boot from that when you want to use the app.

Web browsers are making use of advances in technology but iWeb is not being updated to take advantage of this.

I haven't been waiting and I have been researching but none of the software compares to the ease of IWeb. I did find one but I've been reluctant to move into that software. By the way, I have been using IWeb with Mountain Lion and it works fine for my needs. But If Mavericks really closes it out, then I figured I would move on.

I have been beta testing Rage Software's EverWeb since its inception and you won't find another application that is a similar to iWeb than it.

It has far more advanced features than iWeb even at this stage and creates much more efficient code and therefore faster down loading pages.

Find out more about the app and download a trial version HERE.

Great!

I still use iWeb because it's STILL the easiest to use WYSIWYG web design program out there from all the one's I've tried, and I've tried A LOT of them. I'll check out EverWeb and see how I like it.

Yes iWeb is outdated and some of the features don't work, but there are a lot of work arounds with HTML Snippets to make pretty powerful and professional looking websites even by today's standards.

I know I should probably move on to a responsive cross-platform design by now, but whenever I look at Wordpress templates and the like they're always so boxy looking, even the "modern" ones that try to hide it.

Here's my main website created through iWeb. Not perfect, but good enough until I find a better option:
