safari 6.1 freezes
I just downloaded the update for safari that was released just an hour ago but now Safari is freezing. I get the loading (beach ball thing) and I have to force quit. Someone got any solutions?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I was cracking my head on this one. Installing the uninstaller 😉 fixed it.
Thanks! I too realized that Glims is the culprit, but thought that in order to uninstall Glims, I have to opne Safari properly which was THE problem in the first place! The uninstaller did it for me! Cheers!
I had the same problem. Glims was he culpit. I expect the Apple team is a bit upset with this Glims bug as they are getting crash report after crash report
Downloaded safari 6.1, after Safari chrashed repeatedly, bookmarks would not respond, just a big mess. I fix it by downloading CleanMyMac and removing all the plug-ins listed under the plug-ins section at the bottom. I did a scan in CleanMyMac, removed all trash. Also, I went into the library in OXS and removed the plug-ins in the "internet plug ins" folder. Safari then worked. What a nightmare.
Thanks, this fixed it for me. Although I updated to the latest Glims rather than uninstall it. Chris
