I would like to upgrade my MacBook Pro to the new OS Mavericks. My question is if Photoshop Elements 10 will work/ be compatible with this new OS? I am currently running OS Version 10.6.8.

Cool. I'm glad an earlier version works. Is it "buggy" at all? Also, has adobe released a compatibility statement yet?

I have Elements 10 working in Mavericks but it does not have the JPEG option to save or export the file anymore.. I used to process multiple raw files (CR2). Now it does not have JPEG option for saving. Does anybody have this problem?
Have you tried changing the bit resolution from 16 bit to 8 bits?
Changing the resolution to 8 bits will bring back all JPEG options.

You use Photoshop, but you don't know how to change the image bit depth resolution?
I am not sure where this is in PSE 10, but in earlier versions of PS, it's under the menu Image>Mode and then pick 8 bit/Channel image mode instead of 16 or 32 bit/channel image mode.

You may have to uninstall Photoshop Elements and reinstall it
