My trackpad gestures have not been working correctly ever since I upgraded to Mavericks

Scrolling seems to work fine, until I try to go to the previous webpage. After that, none of the gestures work. Any help is appreciated.

I'm having the same problem.

I have a MacBook Pro 13"(Mid-2010) which i use in clamshell mode with a Apple keyboard and a Magic TrackPad and today i started to have problems with the gestures.

First the scrolling and swipe back stopped on Chrome, i quit and reopened and it came back, but then it stopped on other applications, which quitting and reopening solves, but it also stopped on the system when trying to swipe between the spaces, which forced me to disconnect and reconnect the Magic Trackpad.

Already rebooted and the problem continues.

Same problem here, wonder if it is to do with Chrome 😟

I haven't been able to swipe back and forth through Chrome pages for ever, and then I wont be able to slide left and right through the screens I have, no Mission Control gestures or Expose, I can only scroll.

All Track Pad pref are fine and ticked.

I keep getting uncompleted animations when downloading files etc too, the file will download and open, just the icon still shows the download animation but stuck.

Mission Control always shows a partly downloaded bar from within the icon too.

Shame the last OS was so very stable, hope they get this one smoothed out. If they are trying to intergrate IOS and OSX, then they need to make the gesture bug a priority.

been having this same problem, all gestures randomly stop working and I can't switch to a different space no matter what (click on app icons, using the cmd+tab, launching the spaces with F3, etc.)

my solution has been to restart the Dock using the Terminal (killall Dock) and all goes back to normal for a while, it's quite irritaing

THis happnes to me all the time. Regardless if I reboot or not. Rebooting is only a temporary fix.

I'm having major issues with this expensive macbook pro (15" Retina). Computer freezes all the time. I get the Blue diagonal screen with Green stripe. I don't understand what's going on. And it's sad it's been happening but it is becoming more and more of a nuisance. Especially that the warranty is now up.
