Can't see scrubber bar in iTunes 11.1.2 Mavericks

same problem here.

i have a clean install mavericks on a mid 2011 macbook air. updated to itunes 11.1.2 right after maverick completed installation. restored all my itunes media (music, apps) and tried playing. see only them apple.

someone mentioned rebooting to solve the problem. tried that. the scrubber return the first time i played a song. but as soon as i stopped the playback and restarted. it never came back.

oh well. waiting for 11.1.3. no big deal. but pretty annoying since i depend a lot on the scrubber to notify / remind me of what itunes is doing.

I have the exact same problem. I restarted my macbook and it worked for a while and now its back to just showing the apple logo, but i find that when i put itunes on full screen mode, you can see it. i really dont have the patience to keep restarting my macbook for that, so just waiting for an update.

+1 Reinstalling iTunes seems to have solved it for me as well for now

I have this problem too. When it occurs it always goes together with the fact that the map in the Maps-app is empty. Only the home and destination pin are visible. Only solution is rebooting the Mac.

I have the same problem - all of the information where the timeline usually is disappears after a while. It looks like this:

I tried reinstalling iTunes, but it eventually went blank again.

To get it back, just close the main iTunes window (cmd + w) and then re-open it (opt + cmd + 1). This doesn't interrupt your music.

I had the same problem... it seem that if you play a song for at leas a minutes comes back... try that guys.
