Can't see scrubber bar in iTunes 11.1.2 Mavericks

I have the same problem too when I upgraded to Mavericks. It only shows up when I put iTunes to fullscreen.

I am also experiencing this problem with my iTunes. I have a second monitor connected to my Macbook Pro and the moment the iTunes window exits my primary screen (even with just several pixels) the scrubber appears again and the scrubber works perfectly on my second monitor. If I disconnect my second monitor we are back to the same issue again. 😮

I did experience that when I first launched iTunes, but it now seems to be working. Not sure what happened as I didn't do anything to change this though.

I did a full restart of my Mac shortly after I discovered this problem. Now when I launch iTunes now, the scrubber bar, song info and artwork now appear as it should be. Like what Bruno said, I'm not even sure what happened and I never did anything that caused this.

I have the same problem, the scrubber bar, song info and artwork, are all missing, exept in the in miniPlayer.

Will try a restart later.

I also restarted and iTunes works perfectly now.

I have same issue... restarting the Mac didn't help 😟

I too have this problem.

I had the problem on first launch. I closed itunes, restarted iMac (latest 27) and now OK.

Have had a few freezes though. Also, cant make certain multiple changes, eg changing genre from music to audiobook has to be done one at a time. I will start a serperate thread on this.

i've got the same problem ... anyway I noticed that the problem persists only if you are downloading apps from app store!!! can anyone try???

i had the same issue but after playing a song, half way through it showed up... seems slow to load up.

I was having this same problem, but I downloaded and reinstalled iTunes.

Now it's working fine.

Same problem here. Can't see anything in the scrubber area, and it doesn't show any status there (ie downloading an app, syncing). All it shows is the Apple logo in the middle.
