Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have been trying to download Maverick since yesterday and nothing is happening?? My computer is totally compatible. I have logged out of App store, many a time. Rebooted my computer, many a time. Each time I have done it and signed back into App store to try and download Maverick......nothing happens!!
Any answers or suggetions??

You see an attempt to download and then nothing. As for Launchpad, nothing there. Also did a search on computer for Maverick and nothing.

I am still trying to download it but after a few seconds it vanishes from lauchpad and i get the message "this application can not be downloaded. Check your internet connection and retry." :/
Have fast internet connection.
Is there really a download speed requirement??
You may want to wait a day or two as it is possible the download
servers are just swamped as they typically are on day 1 of an
OSX or iOS release. Often those with initial download issues
have them go away when server loads start to drop.

I too may not really have a choice..... ugh!! Oh, well.
in my case the 'working clock' in the appl store application make 1/2 turn then stops.... nothing else... does that mean something ?

Same thing is happening here. I am downloading 4 th time today. sadest part of my downloading is everytime its failed on 75% of downloading ...😟

Patience was a virtue. Downloaded and all good.
I have downloaded Maverick ok, but am getting the issue with downloading the updates for the ilife apps etc.
Looking at the above I might just have to wait a few days or until the middle of night.
why is it that i nothing happens ? the button says downloading but there is nothing to indicate that it actually is - where is the installer ??????? why is there no installer ??? what is happening ?? come on apple you should be better than this
